It’s a 2GHz Core 2 Duo with 1GB of RAM (I’m looking to upgrade to 2GB at some point). I was originally set on using Plex for it’s gorgeous interface and usability, but its lack of compatibility with the iTunes Music Store put me off.

So I’m looking at alternatives until Plex gets an update/hell freezes over. FrontRow is looking like a good compromise between style and the functionality I need (it was right under my nose too…) but I’m still undecided. Eventually, I want my Mini with whatever media app I decide on, connected to a Drobo containing my media library.

I’m a long way off as I’m using a USB hard drive at the moment! I’ll post an update when everything is up and running.

I’ve wanted to do a blog for ages, but have never got round to setting one up before. I’ve decided to start writing more this year, so the blog falls nicely in to that.

I’ll be writing about all sorts, such as little projects I do, things I buy or websites I come across.
